Open Day 2012 / American Tournament
To celebrate the start of the summer season we are holding an Open Day and American Tournament at the club on Sunday 22nd April 2012 2pm onwards. All members and prospective members are welcome to play. The tournament will be followed by drinks and food and we ask that everyone bring a dish to add to the refreshments.

CLUB TOURNAMENT 2011
Singles Tournament - open to women and men. £2.50 to enter. Closing date for entries is 5pm on Monday 27th June, when the draw will take place.
To enter, either email Guy Smith guysmith11@hotmail.com, or write your name on the list in the clubhouse.
This will be a knockout event, with the final being held on Sunday 10th July. There will also be a Plate Competition for first round losers.

Summer Final Tournament
The club summer final tournament will be played on Sunday, 5th September from 1 - 5 pm. Everyone welcome. Cost will be £4.00 per adult. Balls provided.

First Sunday every month - starting 3rd October

Friendly American Doubles Tournaments
To be played the first Sunday in every month from 2 - 4.00 pm. Starting on Sunday, 3rd October. Everyone welcome. Cost will be £4.00 per adult. Balls provided.
American Doubles Tournament Explained: It's a mixed doubles based competition where your name is placed into a 'hat' and is drawn with another player. You play 8 games with your opponents; 4 with your own partner and 4 with one of the other pairing. You count all your scores and the result is recorded. Depending upon numbers, 4 or 5 rounds will be played in total. The male and female with the highest points in total are the winners and will be awarded a prize each. In the event of a tie, a 7 point tie-breaker will be played to decide the result.

11am - 1pm The club tennis coach will be on-hand to offer tips and advice on how to improve your game (all equipment provided).
1pm - 2pm Food and drinks will be available.
2pm - 5pm Friendly American doubles tournament for adults. £2 to enter.
